eReserve3 approximately ten kilometers northeast of the Hamlet of Clairmont, in the County of Grande Prairie No. 1, Alberta. The facility will be located on privately owned and disturbed land northeast of the ATCO Electric Ltd. owned Mercer Hill 728S Substation. The project utilizes TESLA’s Megapack1, and provides all power into the Alberta Interconnected Electrical System (AIES). The Lithium-Ion Battery storage system is a stand-alone facility that stores electiricty to discharge into the local distribution system upon demand from the Alberta Electric System Operator (“AESO”).
